Stop using AdBlock

When I see ads on any website I browse, and think they are providing content that I enjoy and/or get knowledge from (ex.: the plethora of educative or entertaining YouTube videos, or a blog which gives me a nice read), I make it a point to look at the ads and I click and go the ad's link by clicking on it. That way, I can both look if there are any products that I'm interested in, and ALSO support the person who puts the ad up. You could probably get something that interests you and needed it, but did not know about.
So, the ads, kind of, exposes products and services that could be valuable to you.

Through the revenue these ads generate, the host becomes more motivated to fill in voids in his content. That way, we as end users gain more value, even without paying anything up front. Google has created this wonderful system to pay for ads with each click on the ad is really a boon for people creating content. It provides content creators a way to get paid for their hard work.
[Now, who doesn't like a Pay Day! :> ]

During the past year, Ad Blocking software has gained prominence and is spurting out of almost every layman. Truth is, by blocking Ads, you are actually depriving the content creator his/her Pay Day. If this market of Ad Blocking Software grows further, I'm afraid people are not going to be happy; quality of content of the web is going to definitely deteriorate. Content Creators will become despondent, as what was their source of a small supplement to their day job's pay, will get a significant hit. For some, this Ad revenue is the main source of income. What will happen if you don't click their ads? Well, nothing more than not getting their blogs anymore... (a minute of introspection please).

Imagine a world WITHOUT motivated souls writing blogs and creating better, competitive content, all because you chose not to support them by blocking all ads and depriving off their incentive. You, by blocking ads, are taking the toys off a child's nursery; you are taking out what they desperately need. They no more have any measure of knowing if people like what they created.

With Ad Blocking software, we will slowly move from the present age to where we were 20 to 30 years back. You, by blocking out ads, are not progressing towards a "world without interruption", but to a world we long passed by. A world without Ad interruption is a world in an illusion. It just cannot be merry... Hard Work, intellect and creativity MUST NOT go unrewarded.

Some people might argue that their phone slows down when viewing web pages, but I might counter argue with them that my 2 year old, mid-range smartphone can handle web pages with a plethora of apps without a sweat. If you do not have a smartphone capable of that, I might suggest you throw that junk away, and look for a new phone. But stop using Ad Blockers; it disheartens me.

When you feel the urge to block ads, stop yourself and think for a moment, all the efforts that would have went into creating that content. How would you feel if it were your blog, and someone else blocked ads on that page?

Well, after you have gained all this knowledge, do you not feel like click ads on this page? Supplementing income is one thing, but driving the web is another. By blocking ads, you are dragging the Internet to a Nazi-like era. I want to know what you guy/girls think. Leave your comments below in the comments section.
